Artist's Description

What could be more fun than painting at the beach? I can't think of a more perfect day than soaking up some sun, swimming, and painting my muse, Lake Michigan! Something about the calming effect of the sound of the waves, seagulls, and children playing just fills my soul with joy!

About Pamela Kirkham

Pamela Kirkham

The artist was born in Pennsylvania, but grew up in Michigan through age 18. She returned to Michigan 17 years ago, after living 15 years in Texas, 8 years in New Mexico, and 4 years in Oklahoma. She attended Kendall College of Art & Design in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Pamela graduated as an illustrator and pursued that career in Texas. In 1992, she started her own business, Kirkham Fine Arts. For the last 17 years, her focus has turned away from doing murals and illustration to creating healing, vivid, acrylic paintings that seek to free you from the struggles you face. Accomplishments include having been chosen to be an ArtPrize (the largest art competition in the world) artist in both 2014 and 2015 in Grand Rapids, Michigan; chosen...
